In addition, Telescript has introduced a new development in glass technology ideal for numerous broadcast applications being marketed under the name AR Tempro, which virtually eliminates glare and reflections.

"Telescript is dedicated to providing the highest levels of teleprompting technology and support," said John McGrath, Director, Telescript, Inc. "The introduction of our new teleprompters and Windows NT software further enhances our comprehensive line of products and reaffirms our long-term commitment to the market."

Over the past few years, Telescript has added several high profile installations to its continually growing list of users. In addition to serving the White House, Telescript teleprompters are used by many foreign governments including the president of France, as well as several Governors offices here in the U.S. The company's list of broadcast users includes ABC, CBS and NBC networks, as well as leading cablecasters such as MSNBC, CNBC, ESPN, C-SPAN, MTV and VH1. Telescript is also the teleprompting system of choice for Fortune 500 companies with clients that include Coca-Cola, AT&T, IBM, Walt Disney, Texaco, General Motors, Ford and Bristol Myers Squibb, to name a few.

Telescript, which was formed in 1958, attributes its success to several factors. As a company dedicated to teleprompting systems technology, Telescript offers comprehensive prompting solutions using the latest developments in hardware and software. The company's focus on this specialized equipment category has resulted in the highest levels of performance, quality and support. As a result, Telescript has earned a reputation for reliability that is unsurpassed in the industry.

To assure its success into the future, Telescript is continually updating its product line. New prompting systems equipment on display at NAB 2000 includes a Windows version of the company's powerful teleprompting software called TeleScriptPRO for Windows 2000/NT/98. In addition, the company has introduced lightweight 12-inch and 15-inch LCD Flat Panel Teleprompting Systems for various broadcast and production applications in virtually any lighting. The new products join Telescript's comprehensive line of Monitor and Flat Panel Prompting Systems for studio and field applications using the company's field-proven prompting software.

Telescript has also introduced AR Tempro Glass here at NAB. The innovative glass is ideal for numerous broadcast applications because of its anti-reflective, contrast enhancing properties and durable tempered coating. A studio anchor desk modeled after a unit being employed at WPIX New York was featured in the Telescript booth to demonstrate the glass' unique properties.
